Birth Accompaniment
Includes:
Complimentary call to see if we are a good fit for each other
At least two prenatal visits, which include creating a birth plan if desired, childbirth education, meeting your partner and answering all questions you have
Phone/text support throughout your pregnancy
In-person or phone-based support throughout early labor
In-person support during active labor
1-2 hours of quiet presence and care after delivery of placenta until you and baby are settled
Complimentary birth photography
One postpartum visit
Trusted back-up support in the unlikely event that I am unable to attend your birth
PRICING: I offer my services on a tiered scale.
Tier One $1600
Tier Two $1400
Tier Three $1200
Interested in having additional care and attention at your birth? An option of working with a team of two doulas is also available.
Postpartum Care
Includes:
Complimentary first phone call to learn about how I can best support your integration of a new family member.
Making it possible for you to rest. This is your most important job in the postpartum time.
Emotional and physical support for you
Newborn care: feeding, bathing, swaddling so that you have time to care for yourself
Education regarding mental, physical and emotional changes in the postpartum time
Chest/breast/bottlefeeding support
Light housekeeping and meal preparation with optional grocery shopping
Assistance with childcare (I can help you access community resources or brainstorm new configurations for childcare)
Local resources for community, medical and social support
PRICING: $45-65/hour for minimum 3-hour shifts during the day.
